Making food is making joy.

Let’s prepare a little joy together, so everyone can have a nibble.

It doesn’t matter if you are solo, a twosome, threesome, foursome or heck, even a fifteensome – we’ve got plenty of room in the kitchen.

The Brooklyn Kitchen tailors class size to make sure everyone learns, eats and goes home with some new skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT

first, we gather
around the table.

All The Brooklyn Kitchen classes start with a quick scrub up; not only because it’s healthy, but it’s also great way to start feeling all chef-y.
WHAT TO EXPECT

grab an apron.
grab a knife.

While we’ve already prepped some aspects of your class, you came to learn to cook, so we’ll have you dive right in with both feet (note: we do not recommend cooking with your feet).
WHAT TO EXPECT

squishy. squashy.
oozy. spongy.

Our classes are hands-on, literally. Because we’ve found the best way to cook (and to learn to cook) means embracing a little squeezing and squooshing along the way.
WHAT TO EXPECT

Look what I made!

Our trained staff will guide you every step along the way. We don’t do it for you (where’s the fun in that?), but we teach you to cook to your own taste; giving you space to make your dish 100% deliciously yours.
WHAT TO EXPECT

made to order

Of course, we look out for our guests’ allergies or other food issues as we can. And our recipes are designed to be as adaptive to individual cooking needs as possible. That said, some ingredients just can’t be swapped out. Trust us, we’ve tried.

before you get here.

Once you sign up for a class, we’ll send you a confirmation email to make sure everything jives. At that point, please let us know of any food allergies or special considerations. That way we can make sure your time with us is awesome.

when you leave here.

You’ll be full – with good food, some new kitchen skills and a hunger for more kitchen adventures. Please tag us in any (Instagram worthy or not) pics of your creation, give us a review or just text your family you’ll be hosting next Thanksgiving.
